I grew up in the country where there was nothing to do but ride horses, swim in creeks and cause mischief, mostly at the same time.
My dad is a guitar teacher and refused to teach me, sending me into my room with my first guitar and a chord book and telling me not to come out until i could play 'knockin' on heavens door'. Luckily for me I'm an avid Dylan fan and was out by dinner.
Thus started my many failed attempts at becoming the worlds most killer chick guitarist. Needless to say I'm not much of a shredder.
So i went to Uni in Wollongong where I studied the art of procrastination and beer drinking followed by the usual cry of "Who's playing at the Oxford?" and then "I'm not paying $10 to see THEM!"
Degree in Journalism in hand i now walk the village streets of Lane Cove waiting for my break as a music journalist or for my brother to come back from France and kick me out of his house... which ever life changing event comes first.
