plus MM9, Rincon & Tinman.
Bazaar is a mid winter event at new music venue – QUEENSBRIDGE (opposite Crown Towers, Southbank Melbourne),it boasts an amazing triple header bill and quality undercard for a value ticket price.
Guaranteed to reward local fans of creative original music, Bazzar showcases the next batch of emerging rock bands, all competent players with something musically important to say. All bands have a genuine connection with their audience. All bands are on the rise and this is their forum to deliver a great night of memories.
Bazaar features the talents of:
Mammal – this high energy Melbourne 4 piece had the largest crowd of the day on the Local Produce stage at Melb’s Big Day Out and recently sold out and turned them away in droves at the HIFI. Mml are hanging out to play another city show as part of Bazaar and love big events. Mml never disappoint live and are a spectacle. Now that Pete and Nick have wireless guitars, it won’t just be manic singer Ezekiel Ox roaming the venue and climbing the rails! Mammal will preview a selection of new songs including single ‘Smash The Pinata’ from the soon to be released debut studio album. Can we have a Hell Yeah? You bet!
Dead Letter Circus from Brisbane have delighted us all with sublime melodies evoking emotions that wash over you embellished with lyrics that connect deep within your soul. Songs such as ‘Disconnect and Apply’, ‘Lines’ and live favourite ‘Are We Closer ‘ with it’s galvanising chant of “hope is there” and now the latest single ‘Reaction’ turn any DLC gig into a mass sing a long. International interest is growing and no wonder! If you haven’t seen Dead Letter Circus yet then make sure you make it to Bazaar ..you will be so glad you did, this band will change your life.
Trial Kennedy have exploded onto the charts at #24 debut for the album New Manic Art and are currently on a high with ‘ Neighbours’ gaining significant national airplay ,destined to be an Australian classic and Great Escape and Colour Day Tours sinking in to our collective psyche .TK are pumped to join Bazaar after selling out the HIFI last week having bonded with most of these bands at Sydney’s Come Together Festival. New song Sunday Warning is a knockout. Band to watch alert !
MM9 from Sydney and known previously as Many Machines on Nine (but how big can you get that name on a poster lets be honest?)are a collision of disparate styles but underlying everything is melody and hard core dance grooves.this band impressed many on the previous Melb visit.
Locals bands Rincon & Tinman round out an exciting night of entertainment and there will be the odd bazaar performer roaming the Queensbridge throughout the night.
